WE HAVE OUR OWN TRUCKS, WHY SHOULD WE USE YOUR SERVICE?
There are several reasons:
1. Our trucks are ready when you are.
2. You do not have to lose revenue by taking your truck off the job.
3. You do not need to send a driver with you to DMV.
4. Our trucks have passed over 13,000 pre-trip inspections, so there is no worry about being turned away for a defect found with the truck before the test even begins.

DO YOU HAVE A TRUCK AVAILABLE FOR A CLASS B TEST?
Yes, our Class B program is available in Redding ONLY.

PLEASE DESCRIBE YOUR TYPICAL CUSTOMER
Our customers are people with some prior truck driving experience acquired either off-road or by having held a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) in the past.

CAN I USE THE TRUCK TO BRUSH UP ON MY SKILLS?
Yes, a licensed rider from Jiffy’s Truck Rental will ride with you while you practice.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO RENT YOUR TRUCK?
Class A or B licenses are $725.00 complete with no hidden charges. Price includes up to 4 hours of personal coaching, use of truck and, or trailer, fuel, insurance and mileage. Additional practice hours are billed at $90.00/hr. (Southern California rates are $100.00 higher due to special insurance requirements. Please keep in mind that by choosing Jiffy’s you now have a 97% chance of passing on the very first attempt.

WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept cash, your company’s check, VISA or Mastercard. (No personal checks).

WHAT IF I FAIL?
Even though failures are few, failures occur from time to time. It is important to understand that the CDL drive test is in itself a learning experience. Try not to make the same mistakes twice. If you fail, before you leave the DMV, simply make another drive test appointment that suits you. We, in turn, will reserve the truck for your next drive test.

DO I NEED MY OWN INSURANCE?
No, insurance is provided at no additional charge to you. I have heard rumors that most people have trouble with the pre-trip (walk-around) inspection. Is it that difficult?

HOW DO I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH YOU?
Simply call and let us know that you are ready to proceed. We will then contact the DMV appointment desk and schedule an appointment for your drive test. We will call and notify you of the date and time of your test and work out a mutually acceptable time to practice.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
We have rental stores located in Redding, West Sacramento and San Bernardino, California.

DO YOU REQUIRE A GOOD FAITH DEPOSIT?
Yes, a $350.00 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a truck with Jiffy’s Truck Rental. The balance of $375.00 is automatically charged out 24 hours prior to your appointment date.

WHAT IF I CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT WITH JIFFY’S?
When you book an appointment with Jiffy’s Truck rental, you are entering into a binding contract. We are agreeing to supply you with our truck and services on a specific time and date. You are agreeing to show up on the time, date and location that you promised. The DMV will not allow us to cancel or switch appointments around. The time and date that the DMV has given you cannot be changed. Therefore, if you cancel your appointment with Jiffy’s the balance of the contract becomes due and payable and is non-refundable! Please do not book an appointment with us if there is even the slightest chance that you may not be able to keep your commitment.
